Day 1: Arrival at Catania Airport
Airport pick-up and travel to Tenuta Murgo Hotel in SANTA VENERINA, Sicily. Welcome lunch, followed by presentation of accommodations and activities. In the evening enjoy a "typical dinner of this area."
Start time for daily activities is 9:15
Day 2: Guided tour of the town of TAORMINA and of the beautiful village of CASTELMOLA with Diana, a local guide. Lunch followed by free time. Dinner and evening relax time at the Murgo hotel.
Day 3: Visit Sicily's Volcano "MT. ETNA" and experience a guided tour with local guide Francesco. Take a brief hike to one of the vulcano's craters. Next "honey tasting" in the town of ZAFFERANA, often called the "Pearl of Etna." Lunch in a local "trattoria" and a sea food dinner out.
Day 4: Tour Italy's most beautiful village of SAVOCA and the village of FORZA D'AGRO w/ guide Diana. Lunch at "Ristorrante Gelso Nero" in Savoca, some freetime to explore/shop in the afternoon, and dinner at Hotel Murgo.
Day 5: Enjoy CATANIA's Old City with guide Diana. Then lunch at Ristorante "La Canonica." Indulge yourself with a gelato in village ACIREALE. End your day with dinner followed by relax time back at Murgo hotel.
Day 6: Wine tasting and lunch at Murgo hotel or another winery in the area. Some relax time. That evening spend time in the enchanting town of TAORMINA dining on seafood dinner at "Ristorante Verga" followed by free time to explore.
Day 7: Travel to and tour with guide Diana the villages of SIRACUSA and ORTIGIA. Lunch in "Ristorante Scialai" or "Tratoria del Ponte." Afternoon free time /rest at Murgo Hotel. Dinner in a local pizzeria.
Day 8: Test your culinery skills during a cooking class led by Cheff Pietro D'Agostino at the "Ristorante La Capinera" in TAORMINA. Lunch will be the fruits of your labor! Afternoon free time. Dinner and relax time at Murgo hotel.

Day 9: In CALABRIA, visit the Bronzi di Riace. Then to Sicily's third largest city of MESSINA to visit the Duomo & Campanile, followed by a seafood lunch. Later, return to the Murgo Hotel.
Day 10: Ciao! Ciao! Et buon viaggio!
